Make Picks from Old Credit Cards

Published on 07/28/2009 by Elwood | 651 views.

Here's a quick and easy way for getting a few free guitar picks.

You can use an old card to cut a guitar pick of any size you like - for free. Try using one of the following:

  • expired license
  • Grocery Store discount card
  • Identification card
  • Unused or expired credit card

Use a permanent marker to trace the outline you'd like from another pick, or make a shape all your own. Tip: Don't cut out a pick with a sharp end/edge - it will cut your strings, particularly if they are nylon.

Also checkout the Pick Punch which works like a whole punch and cuts perfectly shaped picks.
